Happy Monday all :) I hope everyone had a lovely weekend. I know I did, besides losing an hour of sleep due to Daylight Savings time. Anyway, I got this new Rachel Roy necklace and I am obsessed with it. I think it helps me determine if I am in a good mood or a bad mood.

Chemline Fall/Winter 2011

Chemline showed their Fall/Winter 2011 collection last night, March 11, at the Ace Gallery. I had not seen many garments from the line prior to the show besides the photo on their website. So lets just say I was going in with a clean slate. What I found was a sleek, strong woman who isn't afraid of sweet details, but is far from a delicate flower. The color palette consisted of deep forest greens, tan silks, black, and cream.

Believe it or not, last night on Wilshire, I was in a sea of scallops.

AND I LOVED EVERY MINUTE OF IT!!

One of the details that had me gushing was the scalloped hems an Onyx velvet skirt. As the model walked down the runway, the creme lining peeked through. I loved it.

So cute and can we please gush over the collar. The collar mirrored the shape in the back, which made me really happy.

This little white dress had me really excited. Again with the collar.

This coat makes me wish it was winter all year long. The cuff detail is so lovely. It was a thoughtful addition to the coat. Perhaps one of my favorite things about fashion is the details designers add to unexpected places that make you feel like they are thinking about you. Its like the post it your mum put in your lunch box. so sweet.

I love the bow collar thing. The back! (which sadly could not find a picture of) had ...YES scallops! so so so adorable.

Overall the collection was awesome. I left a happy little lady
